ASEH: Swiss Label of Quality

The Swiss Hotel Schools Association was founded in 1986 with the aim of controlling the quality and promotion of the existing, traditional Swiss hotel management schools. It has established strict academic, professional and ethical standards for its members, and welcomes hotel management schools located in Switzerland who meet and abide by the standards of quality outlined in its bylaws and its membership criteria.

ASEH is supported by the Swiss professional organizations GastroSuisse, the Swiss Hotel Association and the Swiss Union of Hotel Employees, all of which have a representative on the Board. It may not be easy for students to select a school from such a wide choice, especially as there is no ranking because all members have completed the accreditation procedure and fulfilled the requisite criteria. All members are of the highest quality, but each school has its own particularities. It is up to the students to compare all parameters and decide which school would suit them the best, for example the dates of intakes, the fees, the location, the leisure activities available, etc. Students are always welcome to ask for names of graduates from the school of their choice, in order to get in touch with them.

ASEH regards itself as the label for quality in Swiss Hotel Management Education. By offering studies of the highest standards, member schools enhance the prestige of the entire profession.
