Strengthening the reputation of the Swiss hotel Industry
The Swiss Hotel Schools Association (ASEH) plays an important role in ensuring the solid reputation of both the Swiss hotel industry and its education and training programmes. The Federal Office for Professional Education and Technology (OPET) is pleased with the quality control measures taken by the various ASEH member institutions. The ASEH’s private initiative serves to complement OPET’s procedures to grant federal recognition to tertiary-level type B professional colleges that implement nationally-harmonised training plans. The stringent quality control measures taken by these Swiss-based institutions, which work with tertiary-level type A institutions abroad to award Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, are another positive factor.
I wish the ASEH continued success in their ongoing commitment to strengthening the international reputation of the Swiss hotel industry.
